Where to find the tool?

Access all your requests/polls from the bottom of your side menu:

Track the progress of all your requests and polls at one glance. See the deadlines, how many participants have already answered and how many answeres are still missing.

Drag and drop requests/polls to the "Done" category to archive them.

 

How to create a request/poll?

Step 1. Open the form from the "new request" button:

Next, fill in the form. See one example of creating a request (below) and one example of creating a poll (below):

 

Create a request

Step 2. In the "Who do I ask" field, click on the "+" icon and select the decision maker(s). These are the people who you are sending the request to. To them, your request will show up in the "To do" category of requests.

Step 3. In the "My question" field, type your message. You might consider to include the information whether the participants can see each others' answers or not (to be set up using the third white dot below).

Step 4. Enter the options. Use the "+" icon to add more options and the trash can icon to remove them.

Step 5. Click "Continue" to save your request.

There we go. Your request is sent and cannot be modified any more. It will now appear on your requests overview screen where you can track the progress. Once it gets answered, drag and drop the request to the grey category to archive it.

If you need to delete a request, move your mouse over the area next to the request name until you see the little arrow. Then click on it and select ”delete”.

 

Create a poll

Step 1. see above

Step 2. In the "Who do I ask" field, click on the "+" icon and select the people concerned who will receive the request to participate in the poll. To them, your request will show up in the "To do" category of requests.

Step 3. In the "My question" field, type your message. You might consider to include the information whether the participants can see each others' answers or not (to be set up using the third white dot below).

Step 4. Enter the options. Use the "+" icon to add more options and the trash can icon to remove them.

Step 5. Move the middle white dot to the right in order to allow the participants to select more than one options. Consider also moving the upper and lower white dots - upper one if you are also a participant of this polls, lower one if the answers are confidential.

Step 6. Click "Continue" to save your request.

There we go. Your poll is sent and cannot be modified any more.

However, you can add some additional settings:

Step 7. Set up a due date

Step 8. Attach a file if needed, or more files, for instance, several proposals to ask about preferences.

It will now appear on your requests overview screen where you can track the progress. Once it gets answered, drag and drop the request to the grey category to archive it.

If necessary, you can delete your poll in the same way as your requests (see above).
