Here are some examples of filter settings:

Example 1. Filter employees who started last year

Example 2. Filter colleagues who speak both English and German

Example 4. Filter employees with completed secondary education or higher

Example 1. Filter employees who started last year

In our example, administrator has defined the "Date of employment" item detail as a date field and has put it under the "Employment contract details" group of details.

Step 1. Select "in between"

Step 2. Define the period of time - the begining and the end of the year

Step 3. Click on the "Set fiter" button

 

Example 2. Filter colleagues who speak both English and German

In our example, administrator has defined the "Skills" item detail as a tag field and has put it under the "Basic" group of details.

Step 1. Select "contains"

Step 2. Type in the tags you are looking for - German and Spanish (to turn a plain text into a tag, press Enter)

Step 3. Click on the "Set fiter" button

 

Example 3. Filter colleagues who speak either English or German

In our example, administrator has defined the "Skills" item detail as a tag field and has put it under the "Basic" group of details.

Step 1. Select "is one of"

Step 2 and 3. see the Example 2 above

 

Example 4. Filter employees with completed secondary education or higher

In our example, administrator has defined the "Education" item detail as a list field and has put it under the "Education and qualification" group of details.

Step 1. Select "is one of"

Step 2. Select all the options you are looking for (to select more options, click on them one by one while holding the key Ctrl or Cmd)

Step 3. Click on the "Set fiter" button

 

Example 5. Filter only part-time employees

In our example, administrator has defined the "Employment Contract" item detail as a list type of field and has inserted this item detail into the group of details named "Employment contract information".

Step 1. Select "is"

Step 2. Select the option you are looking for

Step 3. Click on the "Set fiter" button
